Not that we really do senior portraits here in Canada...but...when my daughter approaches her high school grad...we do. Obviously this is the first of multiple photoshoots we'll have to celebrate her graduation, you'll definitely see her all dolled up for prom soon enough. But, for now, I really wanted to capture her at this stage of her life as she really is, in clothes that she actually wears, hair how she wears it...you know... the real person that she is. And let me tell ya...she's a feisty one, has been since she was a baby. She's tested me like you wouldn't believe. But, as she said to me yesterday, "but aren't you glad I'm not boring?" lol. Boring she most certainly is not, and yes, Lilli Grace, I am so very appreciative of that. And, right along with that fierce side of her is a sweetness that I don't think I've ever really seen in another human before. And that sweet & spicy personality of hers is by far what I love the very most about this total treasure of a human.
**bonus points if you can guess which university she's headed to in the fall
***Yes, I had to bribe her to participate in this photoshoot. And, you'd never guess what with, lol.
**** And of course, if you want your high school grad photographed like this we can totally do that. Although I'd actually recommend doing as part of a family session so that you can get in the photo with them for some as well.
