I love engagement sessions! For so many reasons. Obviously there's that you can take a break from work and wedding planning to put on a cute outfit and have a date with your favourite person. There's also that is a complementary session with all of my full day wedding packages. And of course that you end up with all sorts of authentic photos of you and your love that you can always remember your life as an engaged couple AND you can also use them in so many fun ways for your wedding. I love all of that for you. But what I think I love the most about an engagement session is how much it helps you feel more comfortable and relaxed in front of the camera on your wedding day. Your engagement session is a great opportunity to get used to being photographed together and also to get to know your wedding photographer and how they work. I really find that when I have the chance to do an engagement session with my wedding clients, plus a couple pre wedding meetings to chat details, that by the time the wedding day rolls around, we're all pretty easy friends by then and there so much less awkwardness about being photographed. And with this, you get to focus more on being present in your day, resulting in much more authentic and meaningful wedding photos. 

And yes, it's always a little bonus when couples show up with adorable fur babies like this trio who may or may not steal the show.
