Another favourite location of mine for your lifestyle photography sessions...the beach. I truly believe, after all of my years of photographing humans, that the beach has magical powers over us all. The beach brings us all calm, awe and wonder, I've witnessed it so many times. I've rarely seen a fussy baby, uncooperative child, stressed out mama or a reluctant dad at my family photo sessions at the beach. It's like the worries of the world all melt away at the beach. Pure magic. 

This family here has been with me for around 10 years. I've been photographing these two kids since they were beautiful baby bumps at moms maternity sessions, to their newborn sessions, toddler years and now as big kids. Most of these sessions included their adorable pair of fur babies, Sophie and Duke. This last session was extra special as the family was well aware that these sweet doggos were well into their golden years and have since had to say a sad goodbye to each. I'm so happy we were able to document these two cuties into so many of this families special moments over the years.
