If you live in Niagara and haven't been for an ice cream at the Avondale dairy bar...can you truly call yourself a local? It's really about more than just ice cream here, it's a whole experience. The pretty drive there, getting in the line, likely running into a familiar face, sitting peacefully among Niagara's beautiful farmlands, having a swing on the old swings...it's a whole vibe. But anyway...this isn't actually a commercial for this spot although I'm always happy to promote it. 

My clients on this day wanted an easy breezy family photography session, just capturing them joyfully doing everyday things. Things that had to include ice cream of course. So I suggested we meet at this iconic spot where we very simply ordered up some ice cream, ate the ice cream, swang on the swings and most importantly, they just spent some quality family time together. And I quite simply photographed it.
